| This weblog is for anyone who's ever made plans just to watch them fall through.
So I'm supposed to be in North Africa right now. But the Sudanese government didn't process my visa application in time. And I'm stuck on this continent, all of my plans are seven thousand miles away, and I'm bored. So I'm writing this old thing. I might try to make this some sort of semi-annual thing, or bi-monthly or something and say the things I don't want coming up on everyone's facebook newsfeeds. I need to recode my site. I started, I got rid of some of my CSS, I need to get rid of some more. I was a weird kid in high school. I went through my profile and basically took everything out, I'll save that stuff for facebook. All of my interests have changed, anyways. Growing up is strange, like looking through a windowpane and realizing that you've just been looking at the glass and there's things behind it that are more exciting but with less room for imagination. So I just bought a canvas, I'm gonna go paint something. I'll let you know how it goes. | | |

| Remember when xanga was the coolest and everyone had one? wasn't that the best?
Well, it's over, and it's time to move on. i'm not going to delete this but for all practical purposes this blog is a dead rat on the side of a minor highway somewhere in nebraska.
I guess the main reason is that xanga tried to be both a "legitimate blog" and a "social networking site" and got so preoccupied with both that it's no longer very good at either.
In the meantime, I got a facebook (www.facebook.com) and even though i was expecting another terrible site like myspace, I actually like it a lot. you should at least give facebook a shot and you can always decide that you hate it and quit.
I'd love to talk to all of you about all the great stuff like Romeo and Juliet, Turning 18, Graduating, ect..., so get on facebook and add me as a friend.

| Ok, so I got a call last night, and I'm in to jewell. That doesn't necessesarily mean I'm going to england, but it's one big step. the Oxbridge program is seperate from general admission so i'm still waiting to hear from them, but I'm accepted to the college, and they gave me a 7k$ trustee's scholarship per year. And if I get in to oxbridge they give out another 11k. and it looks like i'm gonna be able to get 6k from PTK. God is good, yeah? And my dad offered to pay me 10% of all the scholarships I get. Can we say, MacBook Pro with Serato and Reason, anyone? Sick! | | |
